About Melanie

Melanie Sarkis is equipped with the legal expertise, the compassion and caring that make her unique to personal injury law. She is an excellent litigator and has proven her ability to achieve tangible results in court via her concern for her clients. Ms. Sarkis has substantial personal injury defense experience which gives her an advantage when dealing with the powerful insurance companies.

Sarkis Law was founded in 2010 after Melanie spent ten years at “big box law firms” practicing both plaintiff’s personal injury and defense cases as well as complex civil litigation all across New York State. Ms. Sarkis is devoted to helping clients resolve injury matters so that the injured person and their family can move on with their lives. She cares about the people she serves and understands the difficulties that they face and knows how to get results. When Melanie represents you, you will never feel like just another client, phone calls will be returned, questions will be answered, meetings will take place and concerns will be addressed.

Melanie was born and raised in Rochester and has made a conscious effort to remain here to assist those who need her services in our community. She attended high school in the area and went on to attend and graduate from the State University of New York College at Brockport before she headed to Michigan and the Thomas M. Cooley Law School where she was valedictorian of her class. She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2001 and has been practicing law since.
